Dave DeBorde

Dave DeBorde is an award-winning filmmaker whose experience in the industry is long and varied. DeBorde, was a producer on the romantic feature, Old Fashioned, which enjoyed a theatrical release for Valentine’s Day 2015’ and won multiple awards after its initial festival run.

In June of 2012’, DeBorde directed the feature film romantic comedy, Marriage Material, which stars Victoria Jackson (SNL alum) and Maddy Curley (Stick It). Always expanding the borders of his professional experience, Dave completed a full season as the showrunner for the reality TV show, Soccer Moms of Tampa Bay, which has received critical praise in the industry.

DeBorde wrote the script for the family film, Camp Hideout, which enjoyed a wide theatrical domestic release in the Fall of 2023 through Roadside, and a worldwide release through Sony. Dave was also hired to write and direct, Merry Christmas…Oy Vey!, which is a New York City Christmas film expected to shoot in the city this year with his NYC based company which he co-owns, 321 Films.

The film company is currently in development on DeBorde’s own original script, Opening Night at Rico’s. Rico’s is a murder-mystery dark comedy which takes place in 1978 Manhattan, at the height of Disco. Finally, he has been commissioned to write two different TV pilots which will be pitched this year for pick up in the 25’ season.

DeBorde, is a popular lecturer and moderator on the Film/TV industry and regularly speaks at the biggest festivals in the world: Cannes, Sundance, SXSW, and Sunscreen FF. One thing DeBorde is even more passionate about than moviemaking, is his wife and four energetic kids!

Meet Mark A Baum. Ambitious, energetic, and bold.

Mark decided to bring his considerable business, creative skills and instincts to the world of film. Within one year he had participated in the development of two large films. One written by a double Oscar-winning writer and producer, and the other a Michael Mailer film, Cutman, where Mark serves as a Co-producer. Naturally impatient to get into production, Mark helped finance four modest-budget genre films shot in 2020 and 2021 - Mind Games, Hideout, Goodbye, Petrushka and The Wild Man: Skunk Ape. All of these films are in distribution and streaming on popular platforms.

Mark Executive Produced the recently completed pilot for the comedy Getting Her. He is also EP’ing Magnetosphere, a teen/family comedy beginning production July 2023. In development is the thriller The Body; and Wardenclyffe, a screenplay written by NY Times bestselling author F. Paul Wilson and based on his novella of the same name. Mark is also working on a family comedy in the vein of Home Alone, and expects to announce several other projects later this year.

Prior to the film industry, Mark has a proven track record of passion and sales within the New York City real estate market. Drone Alone: A family adventure movie follows a New York family on a Central American resort vacation. The son accidentally captures an illegal act on camera from his drone and he is soon separated from his family and pursue in the woods by some deadly, but bumbling criminals. It has the magic of Home Alone and adventure of The Goonies.

Merry Christmas...Oy Vey: When a Community Center near Harlem is threatened with foreclosure, the multiethnic group, led by the Center’s leader, band together to put on a holiday variety show which shows off the racially and religiously diverse community, in order to raise the money to keep their center. Sarah’s old boyfriend is leading the efforts to foreclose the center and sparks fly from the start!

Opening Night at Rico’s: A whodunit murder mystery dark comedy that takes place on the opening night of a Manhattan disco tech financed by the mob at the height of Disco - 1978. Think Knives Out meets Saturday Night Fever.
